Most personal training happens on a gym floor, in the middle of everyone else's workout. This doesn't. Domain Athletics is a 908 square foot private studio in Folsom where one client trains at a time, with the whole space and the coach's full attention. No crowds, no waiting for a rack, nobody watching.
Coach Gabriel Flores has been coaching for over five years and opened the studio in 2021. Most clients are everyday adults between 40 and 60 who want to get strong, lose fat, and feel like themselves again. Some have never trained. Some trained for years and stopped. Both start the same way: with a free first session and an honest read on where you are.
Who this is for
- You want a coach, not a membership. Every session is booked, one-on-one, and watched rep by rep.
- You've tried gyms and didn't stick. Appointments and a coach expecting you change that.
- You're 40, 50, 60+ and want to train hard without getting hurt.
- You have a goal with a date on it: a wedding, a trip, a number on the scale, a lift.
What a session looks like
About an hour. We warm up, we lift, we track every set. Strength training is the foundation of every program here, scaled to your age, your body, and where you're starting. Technique gets coached from the ground up. Between sessions you get take-home workouts written for your equipment and your schedule, and practical meal suggestions you can actually follow. The hour in the studio matters. The habits outside it are what make results last.
